    BIOGRAPHY
    Originally from Tunisia, arriving in Nice at the age of 6, the young Abdellatif Kechiche took acting lessons at the Antibes Conservatory.

    Passionate about theater, he performed a series of shows, as an actor (in 1978 he played Garcia Lorca in Nice and the following year in a play by Eduardo Manet at the Odéon) but also as a director (he went to Avignon in 1981 The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria by Arrabal).

    Solicited by the cinema, he landed the main role in Thé à la menthe by Abdelkrim Bahloul , that of an Algerian immigrant living on expedients.

    Gigolo for André Techiné (in Les Innocents , opposite Brialy in 1987) then in the highly acclaimed Bezness by Nouri Bouzid (with an Interpretation Prize in Namur in 1992), Abdellatif Kechiche then decided to go behind the camera.

    He wrote sever
